Connecting Point Christian Academy celebrated Buwan ng Wika during the month of August. Buwan ng Wika or Month of Language, is a month long celebration in the Philippines of giving honor and acknowledging the importance of Filipino language of the country. CPCA joined this celebration through Filipino music, folk dancing, singing and the old Tagalog poetry style or Balagtasan. With the theme of "Filipino, Wika ng Pagbabago" or Filipino, language of change; students were engaged and taught that even with the modern age, it is still important to remember, respect and continuously practice the native language and customs of the Filipinos. As children of God, He wants us to accept and respect the country He specifically chosen for us to live with. |
